Remember Me?

An unmatched Aphrodite as she walked past,
I wonder if she'll remember me?
Her eyes were hazel green and mine were kinda glassy,
I had no confidence to intervene.
I know she caught me look her up and down,
Tight city clothes, a pretty penny,
Her legs were smooth almost like cellophane,
And in my mind the times we spent were many.
But she won't remember me,
Im just too plain a picture in this sea,
not enough to realize that I'd be worth a spin,
a heart to win or get snowed in with,
Just some fun for heavens sake, I could be him...
Her smile was elfish, turned at the leaves,
Her hair was long and fell like moonbeams,
And when she turned and almost met my gaze,
It made it very hard to breathe,
I know the chance that we could be some day,
A far off legend never to occur,
But in my mind she just can't get enough of me,
And I continue to romance her,
But she won't remember me,
Im just too plain a picture in this sea,
not enough to realize that I'd be worth a spin,
a heart to win or get snowed in with,
Just some fun for heavens sake, I could be him...
I could be him...
I could be him...
I could be him...

The Autumn orange and acorn air,
Have brought you to my side,
The day we walked and joined our hands,
and wore our rings with pride-
the stars aligned, fingers intertwined.
The river was our backdrop,
A wispy blue-stained sky,
The stars had nothing on you babe,
That twinkle in you eye, I'm so lost inside.
And I know I won't forget the way, you smiled,
And how the thoughts of this release me, for awhile,
And then the belief, This is no dream...
The hearts around us made a ring,
Tears of joy fell from our eyes,
Though I knew that you'd be wearing white,
I couldn't been more surprised, or fit more joy inside.
And I know I won't forget the way, you smiled,
And how the thoughts of this release me, for awhile,
And then the belief, This is no dream...
